Keeps Crashing- Not usable!

Worst value for $11 ever! App keeps crashing on my iPhone. Have wasted more time trying to use this app than it deserves. Stay away!

Great app if it doesnt crash after they release an update

Used it perfectly for about a month they launched an update that now it wont do anything other than crash on me. Please fix Id love to give you guys a 5 star review because the app is actually really good ( when its working ).

Why I updated it?!?!

Hi Babbel team. Why do not you go back to old version till you fix new version bugs?!?! You know we pay but we cant use app around one month!!! Please think about your costumers... Waiting for your prompt action... Crashes do not let us use this app and it is unusable at the moment.

Awesome, the best

I learned Turkish super fast

Keeps me fresh

I started using Babbel so I could understand and speak Turkish while I was visiting this beautiful country. Babbel helped me comprehend pronunciations of the vowels (important distinctions) as well as use vernaculars pertaining to every day use. I love the pace I can choose, and have found the "app" keeps the language fresh in memory and speech ! Very delighted to use this as a beginner :)

Turkish

Trying to learn Turkish before I actually go to the country and this is by far the best app Ive used for any language. You can use the app on your computer or device and thats great!

Merhaba

Best language app Ive seen. 5 stars easily!

Sloppy

Since the last update, the keyboard on iPhone doesnt include Turkish characters so I cant type correct answers. App is useless.

Review

Im very happy with this app, Ive been trying to find the right application to learn turkish on the go for the the last two years and so far I think this one is the best, I highly recommend it for a beginner..however I think it should provide more advanced courses for intermediate and advanced students

Professionally developed APP, convenient learning system

This a very professionally developed APP which offers a convenient portable learning system. It could be improved by adding some of the social incentive mechanisms offered, for example, by the Duolingo APP.

Yes!

I bought a year of access because I am living in Turkey now for the next year. These courses are great! Im learning so much. Incredibly helpful, well worth the in-app purchase for full access.

Love it

Teaching myself Turkish for a missions trip this summer. This app has made it so easy for me.

Super

Love the app!

Amazing!

This app has made it so easy for me to learn a new language. I took up Turkish because of my girlfriend, and its just fun being able to speak in another language with her. I love it!

Lots of content, good for an expat trying to learn more than how to order kebabs.

Lots of content here. A good mix of activities and lessons. I hope they keep improving it!

Really really bad :(

Im only nine and My whole family is turkish till my mom moved to america and gave birth to me and my sisters I always wanted to understand turkish but I thought it was free!

This is just a DEMO… not even freemium!

You will download this. You will go through the first lesson (2 minutes). Then you will hit a pay wall that tells you everything else requires a month subscription! I think a fixed fee per course is much more appropriate than a subscription! You will be disappointed that this wasn’t spelled out more clearly. To be fair, I think it is mentioned somewhere in the App Store details, but come on! You make me jump through registration hoops and only later do you really point out this important detail?! It means this amounts to little more than a demo. And one of the shorter ones, at that. Who ever heard of language app by subscription? i’d much rather buy it as a one time purchase! The lessons also aren’t very good. I’ve had quite a bit of fun with DuoLingo, which is structured similarly, but is better. Duolingo is better about letting you repeat pronunciations, and has a listening component where it checks your pronunciation. Overall, Babbel was pretty shallow by comparison. I felt like it breezed through the lesson, without ever repeating and reinforcing what I was supposed to be learning. I guess they expect you to learn a phrase after hearing it once.
