Totally recommend this for everyone.

Works for me!

Ive tried several different methods of learning Turkish and this is one of the best - for me, it is the best. The presentation is learner friendly, organized, and set up in a way that helps you get a grasp of how that language works.

Amazing!

After this update today some lessons came clear again, as if I havent done it before! And all the courses that I previously downloaded, I had to re download all of them! So disturbing!!! Im sad. Besides that its a great opportunity to learn another language with low cost! I think it should improve one aspect only: once you advance each "page" of a lesson, you cant go back to the previous one. Specially if you are trying to practice a lot and if you miss something you have to go back to the beginning of the lesson.. Kind of boring! Besides that, no complains! I got the full version, an its surprising me a lot!

Babbel macht spass und man lernt gut

Prima

Good but unstable

The lessons are fun and effective but sadly the app keeps crashing. There is also little offline capacity, as you have to download each short lesson one at a time.

Useful but complicated

It can be used by those ones who just started to learn the language since it gives basic information. The bad thing is that you need to subscribe to the application to download its content and you will be charged automatically in set periods of time. Even if you dont use the application. So be careful ! Before deleting it you must cancel the subscription. The ways to do it are described on the web site (but not clearly enough)

Treat needed for the app

Smth wrong. On 17 lesson the app has been crashed. Need to do smth.

Amazing

These apps and the babbel website are AWESOME!!!!

Better than Rosetta Stone

This app really teaches you how to speak turkish! It explains the grammar and shows you the exact translation in English. I have tried Rosetta Stone and even my turkish wife felt it was not clear and to confusing for a beginner. Highly recommend this app and the price is beyond worth it.

Worth every penny

Its best to pair this with Rosetta Stone and use them concurrently, but if going with one or the other, Babbel wins everytime. It explains the grammar and offers translations while also allowing you to speak, read, write and hear. Worth every single penny. Will use for other languages in the future without a doubt.

Love this app!

Great way to learn a new language. Subscribed 2 minutes after trying it out. Very fun, simple and organized. It works great for busy learners with limited time to engage in coursework.

so cool n cute

also its lots of fun. they recommend 10 minutes, but i just keep loose tracking of time and get so involved and connected to it. many thanks Babbel+ :))

Awesome

Really good education app! But they dont have ı. They should make Turkish keyboard.

5 months to go

Five months til Turkey. This app is a big help.

Keyboard

The keyboard on my iPad does not match the Turkish alphabet. For example, there are two forms of "i." As a result, when you type an "i", the app may interpret it incorrectly and ding you for a wrong answer. This gets annoying pretty quick. If there is a way around this problem, I have yet to find it. Otherwise, the app works pretty well - although it sound have a dictionary.

Fun and challenging

First few lessons are easy and fun. Good choice of foundation vocab for functioning in social situ. The grammar does get tricky with endings but you can repeat lessons and even scroll back to look at something again. Iuse this on both my phone and iPad.

The best by far :)

I adore this app its amazing and it helped me to understand turkish grammar Its so helpful Anyway keep up the good work! ^__^

Fantastic!

Very helpful and also fun! Breaks down the material well and repeats enough times to get it down but not so many you get bored. Highly recommended!

Wonderful

A wonderful way to learn a language. Have learnt a lot from the very first time. I recommend it.

Babbel: nice but a few bugs

The program does seem well designed. It doesnt take advantage of the international keyboard. Often when I type an "i" it changes it to an "ı" (non dotted i) and so I get it wrong. Also, sometime it says I got 35 right out of 11 or some such thing. Still it is helping me. I am dependent on the visual though, but I think thats an inherent challenge on an app vs a real teacher. Lastly, the subscription way of doing it isnt my favorite, especially with difficult to shut down auto renewals.
